For over 40 years Laura has been excelling at piano, a natural musician.
Accolades include winning many piano competitions such as the Canadian National Exhibition, first prize, a scholarship for the highest mark in Canada for the ARCT (associateship degree). Competing against university students in concerto competitions at the age of 15, among many others.
Also a multi-instrumentalist and singer, having been the accompanist in many bands, a brass player, and a singer in several bands and choral groups, such as the Mendelssohn Choir. Other notables in this genre include singing with the touring Montreal Ballet, playing at the Winter Olympics, and touring in England.
Laura understands musical collaboration, blending with group dynamics, timing and rhythm.
She achieved a master’s degree in music and her forté is fast sight reading, and being very easy to work with, patient and kind.
