In addition to my work as an accompanist, I am an experienced keyboardist, musical director, arranger & transcription expert with over 25 years experience.
Whilst in the UK, I played for many shows & was a regular West End audition pianist. I currently accompany the Melbourne Welsh Male Choir, lead the Frankston Ladies Choir and play keys (inc. LH bass) at the huge Munich Brauhaus restaurant in styles from folk right through to current pop. I also accompanied recently at the Ringwood Eisteddfod.
I've built a reputation as someone who gets up to speed quickly on gigs (a practiced sight reader with busking skills) . Fill in gigs with little notice and BVs are no problem: positive attitude comes for free!
As far as arranging goes, I have worked with the scoring software Sibelius for over 20 years, and can provide:
transcriptions (sheet music exactly as recording),
transpositions (key changes),
charts (full or lead sheets) for bands, choirs etc.,
backing tracks from scratch or edited & more!
