The Diablo Women's Chorale is seeking a piano accompanist with extensive experience in accompanying choral groups. DWC sings a modern repertoire (pop, jazz, etc.), so the accompanist must be highly skilled in playing that type of music (versus religious or classical) and adept at quickly mastering and playing both parts and the full score of the chorale’s concert songs.
DWC seasons are August - December and January - May. The accompanist will play at weekly rehearsals (Monday evenings) in Walnut Creek, as well as at public concerts (two per year – May and December) and private concerts as arranged.
