Performance Job Listing - New York - Need two pianists to record "Rachmaniana" by Jacob Weinberg

I am seeking to hire two expert classical pianists to perform a two-piano classical work, "Rachmaniana" by composer Jacob Weinberg (1879-1956). It is a tribute to Rachmaninoff.

Seeking two pianists who can occupy the same studio with two pianos, whether in Manhattan or anywhere else in the world, and play it and it will be recorded on video and posted on YouTube. You will each get $750 honorarium. I know it's a lot of practice. The audio will be released as a CD Baby album. Weinberg was a prolific Russian-trained composer and concert pianist who wrote over 135 works. "Jacob Weinberg, Musical Pioneer", is a bio of the great Jacob Weinberg, available on YouTube.

I am a producer of JW's works and live in Manhattan.

Performance Job Listing - Lakewood, Colorado - Chancel Choir Accompanist

Our choir meets for rehearsals on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm and on Sunday mornings for 8:30am choir practice and for the choir anthem during the 9-10:00am worship service. We rehearse and perform only during the school year - summers off! This year we hope to start in September, a little later than usual due to the pandemic. We usually break for summer around mid-May.

We have been rebuilding the music program for the last few years and were up to about 25 people in the choir. We were doing 4-part songs, but it looks like we will need to drop back to 2- or 3-part, as we will need to re-build again after the shut down. So, the music will be fairly simple. We are a small, friendly choir who enjoys each other and loves to welcome new friends! Our main goal is to build community and make some lovely music as our gift to our church.

The weekly pay is currently $80 for the 4 hours of in-church time, but we can probably go a little higher.

Please feel free to share this info to any pianists, teachers, or students who might be interested.
