Nationally and Internationally recognized pianist, Damira Feldman was born in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, and started studying piano at the age of ten.
Ms. Feldman entered the legendary Special School for the gifted children at the Kazan State Conservatory at the age of 14, where she studied under Professor Marina Sucharenko, a former pupil of Professor Yakov Zac.
Her debut as a soloist with the Kazan Symphony Orchestra at the young age of 15 was broadcast by a very popular television program, New Stars.
Ms. Feldman attended the Kazan State Conservatory (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia). She studied piano at the class of Professor Natalia Fomina, a former pupil of Professor Heinrich Neuhaus, and organ as the secondary discipline under Professor Rubin Abdulin.
She was awarded the Diploma with Honors from the Kazan State Conservatory of Music and was recommended to continue for a Doctorate in the Performing Arts and Pedagogy.
After graduating with a degree as Soloist and Leader of an Orchestra, Piano Teacher and Chamber Orchestra Musician, Ms. Feldman began her career as a piano teacher at the Kazan Academy, while also performing as a piano soloist with the Kazan Symphony Orchestra.
In 1993 Ms. Feldman left the musical world and her home country to pursue a new career in international business in the Holy Land of Israel.
In 2001 destiny presented Ms. Feldman with a new opportunity and she moved to the United States. In her new home state of Florida, she found the time to return to her natural-born roots as a musician and, after 10 years of absence from the musical world, she re-established her reputation as a classical musician. Her programs present in-depth knowledge of historical and stylistic expertise and include a wide range of significant composers from the very early Classicism of the 17th Century to the Modern 20th Century.
During the past 10 years Ms. Feldman has presented keyboard solo performances as well as master classes in Russia, the United States, France and the United Kingdom.
Ms. Feldmans live piano performances and interviews appeared on WXEL 90.7FM Classical Variations. The interviews and all solo performances of the series Behind the Piano Scores were cablecast on SIB TV Channel 77, FL during the Season 2010-2011.
Ms. Feldman is a founder of the Piano Concert Series at Steinway Piano Galleries, Beautiful and Beloved Music of All Time that has enjoyed its popularity since 2007. In 2010 she expanded the variety of the programs in a new series, Behind the Piano Scores.
Ms. Feldman is the Founder and Musical Director of the Miami Outstanding Piano Amateurs Festival (2010) which organizes recitals, master classes and soirees for amateur pianists.
Currently, Ms. Feldman teaches piano as a member of the Adjunct faculty at the Visual and Performing Arts Department, Broward College, FL where she frequently conduct the Master classes and perform as pianist and harpsichordist.
Ms. Feldman was honored with Residency at the University of South Carolina, Aiken to conduct the Master classes to students from USCA, lectures and recitals for public school students in Aiken County and perform Solo Recitals at USC Aikens Etherredge Center.
Ms. Feldmans ability to recognize and commitment to nurture young talents are obvious reasons for her being invited to join panels of jurors of various national and international competitions, including the International modern music festival named Sofia Gubaidulina and the Piano competitions organized by Music Teachers Association, USA.
Ms. Feldman is the recipient of many prestigious awards for her musical accomplishments, and artistic and educational achievements.
