Living in the Tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin gives me the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of music teaching, rehearsal and performance opportunities. Having been a Music Educator for 35 years allows me to bring a great deal of knowledge, experience and performance techniques to each project in which I am involved.

I took retirement from public school teaching in 2012. Music continues to be a vital part of my life now as a cantor, church musician and liturgist for both the Sinsinawa Dominican Center and The Villa nursing facility on the Dominican campus in Sinsinawa, WI. As such I am a member of the National Pastoral Musicians Association.

As a Master Adjudicator for the Wisconsin School Music Association, I strive to encourage and promote the continuation of all music instruction and performance.

I am an excellent sight reader.

As a rehearsal and performance pianist for over 70 musicals at both the Junior High/High School and the College and Professional levels I continue to enjoy working with every age group from beginners to those who make their living on the stage. As a rehearsal and choreography accompanist I have worked with the Artistic Directors of the Heartland Theater Festival located on the University of Wisconsin - Platteville Campus and also the Bell Tower Theater located in Dubuque, Iowa.

My accompaniment work has serviced over 4000 students for Solo and Ensemble Festivals at both the District and State level.

I continue my work in the public schools as a free-lance accompanist for all ensembles and concert venues. My repertoire includes over 70 musicals where I performed as the pit pianist in schools and universities in 4 states.

Fees

District/State Solo and Ensemble accompaniments: $20.00/event plus mileage.

Concert Accompaniment:
This fee includes $20 per music selection, rehearsals with the performing group(s), dress rehearsal and actual concert performance. Mileage is extra.

Wedding Fee: $200.00
This includes meeting with the couple, practice with vocalist/instrumentalist, rehearsal and music for the day of the wedding.
Purchase of any music I do not have would be an extra charge.

Funerals: $100.00
This includes meeting with the family and clergy.
An additional fee of $30 will be added if practice with a soloist is needed.

University/College Students: $20.00/studio lesson
Additional practices: $20.00/practice
Recital: $100.00 (This includes dress rehearsal with instructor and actual recital.)

Musical: $500.00
For Junior High and High School musicals, a flat fee is charged. This includes rehearsal time, mileage and 3 performances. Additional performances are $60.00/performance.

Musical: Rehearsal Accompanist services for community theater or university/college level. An hourly fee of $25/hr. is charged. This fee is negotiable depending on circumstances.
