I am active as a professional accompanist and chamber musician. I am an excellent sight-reader with a very wide and diverse repertoire, especially in string and vocal music. I have a friendly and approachable manner and I am equally happy to accompany professional recitals, choral societies, exams and music festivals and to work with people of all ages and standards.
Whilst I do not specialise in jazz or early music I am comfortable with basic lead sheets, improvisation and playing figured bass.
I trained at the Royal College of Music, gaining a Masters in Piano Accompaniment and have studied and performed in piano masterclasses with tutors including Steven Kovacevich, Bernard Roberts, Joanna MacGregor and John Lill.
I am the resident accompanist at the East Sussex Academy of Music and have performed in many venues including Croydons Fairfield Hall and St. Johns Smith Square. I collaborate with musicians including violinist Rebekah Allan and cellist Christopher Allan.
