Shandra Love has been the Departmental Accompanist for applied students at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) in Winston-Salem since August 2023. Ms. Love accompanies 15 students and is a classical pianist, collaborative pianist, piano accompanist specializing in a wealth of instrumental and vocal repertoire.
Ms. Love is an accomplished classical pianist in the Winston-Salem (27127, 27101, 27103, 27104, 27106), Wake Forest (27109) Clemmons (27012), Greensboro (27410, 27408, 27412, 27455) and High Point (27265, 27263, 27262) Kernersville (27284, 27285), and Lewisville (27023) NC area. She is also a classical collaborative piano accompanist available to travel to other areas in Forsyth County, Guilford County and the Piedmont Triad.
Ms. Love is available to accompany instrumentalists and vocalists in Winston-Salem (27127, 27101, 27103, 27104, 27106), Wake Forest (27109), Clemmons (27012), Lewisville (27023) Greensboro (27408, 27410, 27412, 27455), Kernersville (27284, 27285) and all areas of the Piedmont Triad. Ms. Love possesses a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from George Mason University and a second Masters Degree in Injury Preventive Keyboard Technique from Salem College. She is also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) in piano through Music Teachers National Association.

I am available to accompany students auditioning for the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions, instrumental competitions, and solo and ensemble festivals.
Rates are different for middle and high school students participating in solo and ensemble festival through Guilford County and Forsyth County.
Fees
$ 65.00 Dollars Per Hour
My accompanist fee includes one hour of rehearsal time. There is a separate fee for the performance, competition or audition. However, fees for middle and high school students participating in Solo and Ensemble are different depending on the level of the repertoire.
