-Studied piano with Russian and former Bachauer participant Kira Merzhevskaya at Utah Valley University, as well as Anita Andrews.

-Upper division "Workshop for Opera" class at Utah Valley University (UVU) -Vocalist Michelle Alexander, winner of the Utah Division for The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (competition)
-Full scholarship to accompany a Musical Theater class for Dave Tinney at UVU
-Partial scholarship to accompany faculty and students at UVU for vocal master classes, recitals, and Concert Choir
-Vocalists and instrumentalists at the University of Utah and UVU for vocal & instrumental juries, recitals, and performances
-Concert Choir for Constance Jensen at UVU for several years
-Church choirs for 8 years

Piano Performance and Piano Composition:

-Received a Superior rating for all aspects of piano performance in a Utah Music Teachers Association Evaluation.
-Won 3 honorable mentions on the International level of the annual music Composers Guild Competition
for three separate piano compositions in three separate years.
-Won subcategory “Utah Best Keyboard Composition” for a piece I composed in the international Composers Guild annual competition.
-Soloed with the UVU Symphony-Orchestra, & was part of the UVU Symphony-Orchestra as a pianist.
