I've been playing since I was 4, arranging for two hands, and improvising on melodies I heard. before moving to Victoria, BC and studying formally, at the age of 6.
I've been working professionally as vocal coach/collaborative artist for over 35 years, and love what I do.
Most recently, I was on faculty of Vancouver Film School, for almost 7 years, and value that time highly.
I am an Associate (AVCM) of the Victoria Conservatory of Music, where I took 2 years of comprehensive pedagogy and studied accompanying for 8 years. I've studied at UVic and through Camosun University, also.

I relocated to Toronto, from Vancouver, where I was working as an Accompanist and Vocal coach for actors of all ages (some non-singers too) and experienced music theatre performers, and Audition and Rehearsal Pianist. I have accompanied various choirs, dance events, and been part of duos, dinner theatre, and full-scale productions. I support the performer, to ensure they feel comfortable and 'at ease'.
I enjoy improvising and arranging folk songs and standards also.
