Having studied the piano with the concert pianist Peter Croser and, following a period as a Junior Exhibitioner at the Royal Academy of Music, Andrew went to the Royal College of Music where in addition to musicianship classes and conducting lessons, Andrew studied the piano with Phyllis Sellick. As a concert pianist, Andrew is equally at home with both serious and lighter classical repertoire and he also enjoys a fine reputation as a piano accompanist working with professional instrumentalists and vocalists. In addition to concerts and recordings, Andrew spends some time on overseas tours as guest pianist in up-market hotels where his wide repertoire is much appreciated.
