A graduate of James Madison University where she received a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance, Anna is a private piano teacher and accompanist. She has taught piano at the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy, as well as the Community Music School of the Piedmont. Currently, Anna has nine private piano students of ages five to fourteen in Loudoun County and Prince William County. Anna has been the rehearsal accompanist for Mr. John Rutter, Dr. Lynne Gackle and Dr. Patrick Freer in preparation for the Voices United Childrens Choir performing for the ACDA Regional Conference. As a guest accompanist, Anna has had the honor to play for the Prince William All-County Honors Choir and the District IX Honors Choir for the past five years. Anna spends her summers at Interlochen Arts Camp as a collaborative pianist for the Vocal Arts and Operetta Program. Celebrating four wonderful years, Anna is the accompanist for the five choirs at C.D. Hylton High School under the direction of Tommy Tutwiler. Anna has studied piano with Karen Colley, Dr. Eric Ruple, Dr. Gabriel Dobner, and currently studies with Edvinas Minkstimas. After a ten-year search, she has found the graduate program of her dreams in vocal accompanying and chamber music and is preparing to audition in the spring of 2012.
