Anna is a skilled pianist / accompanist based in the Wellington and Wairarapa regions. She holds a BA (Performing Arts / Theatre Studies) from the University of Otago and ATCL Diploma (Piano Recital) from Trinity College London.

Anna's main area of interest is ballet accompaniment. She is a casual pianist at the New Zealand School of Dance where she has played for unset classes for tertiary students as well as Scholars' and Junior Associates' weekends. She played for company class at the Royal New Zealand Ballet during September / October 2017 and has also played for RAD syllabus vocational and graded ballet exams at the Geraldine Inder School of Dance in Masterton and for Cecchetti syllabus classes and exams at Highgate School in London. In March 2018 Anna travelled to London as one of two shortlisted candidates for the Jette Parker Young Artists' Programme at the Royal Opera House (for an audition as ballet pianist). While unsuccessful, it has only fuelled her desire to pursue ballet accompaniment further.

Anna has worked on numerous musical theatre productions as a rehearsal pianist, musical director, and assistant musical director. She musical directed 'Footrot Flats' at Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society in November 2017, was Assistant Musical Director for 'Spring Awakening' with WITCH Theatre (performed at BATS) in April 2018, played synth in the band of 'Spelling Bee' at Chilton Saint James School in May 2018, and is currently Keyboard 1 and Rehearsal Pianist for 'Chess' with the Wellington Footlights Society (to be performed from 5th-14th July at Tapere Nui, Te Auaha). She is a strong sight reader and enjoys the challenge of playing orchestral reductions for rehearsals!

Previously Anna has also accompanied for vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs - for competitions, recitals, and exams.
