Russian pianist Anton Melnichenko started his musical training at the age of five and gave his first public solo recital at the age of 12. Since then he has annually performed in recitals all over the Russian Federation and abroad with big success. In 2003-08 Anton studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with professor S. Dorensky and his assistant A. Pisarev. Anton moved to the United States in 2008, right after completing his studies at the Moscow Conservatory. In 2010 Anton received Artist Diploma at Hamline International Piano Institute as well as his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota, where he studied with Professor Alexander Braginsky.
Anton Melnichenko is a multiple prizewinner of both international and regional piano competitions and festivals. He won first prizes at International competition The Art of XXI century (Kiev, Ukraine 1998), Gavrilin International piano competition (Vologda, Russia 2001), International competition Citta di Fasano (Fazano, Italy 2008), as well as The Schubert Club Competition (St. Paul, USA 2009, 1st prize); 2nd prizes at International piano competition (Votkinsk, Russia 1994) and Russian National Safonov piano competition (Piatigorsk, Russia 1995). Anton is also a 4th prize winner at the Andorra International piano competition (1999).
Besides his solo career, Anton has been interested in chamber and vocal music. As an accompanist Anton appeared at several highly recognized vocal competitions, where received a Best Accompanist Diploma.

My fees vary with each engagement. Hourly fees start at $45. I am available for coaching, rehearsing, concerts and touring.
