i have been a piano and vocal teacher for 25 years. I have taught private lessons to hundreds of students, and I have also been accompanist for high school musical productions. I have accompanied and directed musical productions in churches for 25 years. I have accompanied soloists in UIL and state competitions.
I have done lots of improv also, and I can play by ear - if I have heard it I can play it without any sheet music. I love making music fun, and believe that an accompanist must first and foremost create a vehicle for the soloist or choir or ensemble or theater company to shine!
