Having won the MBF accompaniment prize at the Maggie Teyte competition as well as accompaniment awards in the Lies Askonas, Major Van der Pump and RCM Schumann competitions and performances at venues including the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and the Moscow Festival, Belinda is a hugely experienced pianist and accompanist, much in demand on the concert platform as well as exams, auditions and rehearsals.
Educated at Chetham's School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, Belinda completed a Masters with Distinction at the Royal College of Music, studying with Simon Lepper and Roger Vignoles. Here, she held a full scholarship, and was selected as an RCM 'Rising Star.'
She has excellent sightreading skills, a friendly manner and vast experience of accompanying in all different environments and levels of singers and instrumentalists. Organisations that she has worked as accompanist at include the Junior Academy of Music, Southbank Centre, Royal College of Music Opera and vocal department, Choir of London, Garsington Opera, Samling Foundation and Intermusica agency .
Has own music studio with piano or willing to travel.
