Born in Indonesia, Bella Anesia obtained her Bachelor of Music with Honours from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK under the tutelage of Prof. John Thwaites and received the Conservatoire Scholarship Award for the course. She graduated her Diploma in Music at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, in collaboration with the Royal College of Music, London, where she studied with Mrs. Rena Phua and received a Tuition Grant from the Ministry of Education, Singapore. She started learning piano at the age of 5 with Ms. Grace, Ms. Rosemery Halim and Ms. Sri Suliani Leo in Medan, Indonesia.
During her studies in Birmingham, she has been chosen to teach in Birmingham primary schools under the Birmingham Music Service programme. Recently, she was invited to perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Netherlands for the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition Award Ceremony and received a Second Prize. In 2017, she was invited to perform on an award ceremony at Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and received a Third Award Prize. She participated in the 2016 Asia International Piano Academy & Festival with Competition in Seoul, Korea and received a Silver Award. In 2015, she performed at Monestir de Sant Pere in Camprodon, Spain. In 2013, she won Third Award at the Singapore International Youth Piano Competition 2013.
Besides all the competitions and concerts, she has been coached by Daniel Browell, Anthony Hewitt, Katharine Lam, Dina Parakhina, Li Ming Qiang, Robert Winter, Gordon Fergus- Thompson, Grzegorz Niemczuk, Adam Gyorgy, to name a few.
