B. J. Harman is a pianist currently residing in Melissa, Texas, where she runs an independent teaching studio and is active as an organist and an accompanist. She accompanies for school district and UIL events as well as churches and recitals. BJ has been teaching piano and accompanying for over 25 years. She also has experience teaching music in a school classroom setting and has also been an adjudicator and church choir director and hand bell director as well as a children's choir director. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, Texas Music Teachers Association, Plano Music Teachers Association (current Vice President), Music Development Achievement Program, National Piano Guild, and the American Guild of Organists.
