I have worked in the world of dance for twenty years or so as a free lance piano accompanist,and in that time I have played for the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Matthew Bourne, the Scottish Ballet,and the Mark Morris Dance Company... to name but a few. Currently, I am involved with the Academy Training Programme based at Dance City, Newcastle upon Tyne,and my services are also enlisted by the Royal Academy of Dance for whom I play at various regional vocational examination sessions.
I am also a member of a popular local band called The Happy Cats (www.thehappycats.com) where I play piano accordion in addition to piano keyboards.
Over the years I have honed my improvisational skills to the point where I am now able to improvise in any musical idiom, and Im also a good reader.
I constantly strive to refine my musicianship and aim always to provide the highest level of quality in my services.
