I have been a musician for many years and have played in and have lead a plethora of ensembles during that time.
Currently wearing at least three hats, I am leading a jazz trio, a swing band and I perform as a solo pianist around the Lake District. Recently I was pianist with the Dumfries and Galloway Big Band at the Lockerbie Jazz Festival
As head of music of a highly successful music department in a West Cumbrian school I have created a number of jazz ensembles (among others). Most prominent was a big band that performed regularly in local venues but also in a number tours to Europe which took in Berlin, Bremen and Selm in Germany.
All of my ensembles are available for hire and I am available for any ensemble looking for a pianist.
