At the age of 13 was awarded a studentship by Wirral Borough Council to study piano with John Ramsden, Principal of the Liverpool Matthay School of Music and later with Eva Warren of the Royal Northern College of Music.
Graduate of Lancaster University, where she studied with Jana Frenklova, and performed Shostakovich Piano Concerto with the University orchestra. She also has PGCE teaching qualification and DBS certificate.
Over 40 years accompanying and teaching experience.
Accompanied for exams and concerts for Resonate Music Education Hub (formerly Liverpool Music Support Service).
Has much experience accompanying ABRSM and Trinity exams and also diplomas.
Accompanist with Ladybrook Singers, Hazel Grove and Chapel-en-le-Frith Male Voice Choir.
Has worked with soprano Sylvia Martignoles as the duo "Two's Company" for over 35 years.
Also has much experience working with amateur and school productions.
