Celinna Angesti Mawar began her piano lessons at the age of four, studying under Fifini Chandra and Gaby Gunders. She completed her Bachelor of Music (Piano Performance) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2014, studying under the tutelage of Olga Kharitonova.

In 2002, Celinna won the 2nd prize in Yamaha Piano Competition in Riau, and the 1st prize in 2003 in the same competition. In 2009, she won the 1st prize in Riau Piano Competition. In 2011, she performed George Gershwin’s ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ with the St. Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls Orchestra in Perth, Australia. In 2015, she participated in MusicAlp Festival in Tignes, France, studying under French pianist Pascal Rogé. In 2016, she received Gold Prize at the 2nd Asia Arts Festival held in Singapore and also received the 2nd (Chopin Category) and 4th (Mozart Category) prizes at the Korea-Asia Piano Competition held in Seoul, Korea. In 2017, she received the 3rd prize at Batam International Open Piano Competition (Adult Category).

Apart from competitions and festivals, Celinna has also been involved in charity concerts such as the “Con to Kabul” series (The Art Gallery of Ballarat, Melbourne, 2013-2014) to raise funds for the Afghan Youth Orchestra and “Piano Marathon @ION Orchard 2017”, a fundraising event organised by Steinway Gallery Singapore for The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF).

Celinna has had masterclasses with Professor Ronald Farren-Price, Professor Max Cooke, Caroline Almonte, Akiko Iijima and Professor Gilbert deGreeve. She has performed in venues like the Melba Hall, The Art Gallery of Ballarat, Sentosa Convention Centre, Seil Art Hall, The Arts House, ION Orchard and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

Celinna enjoys music of different genres, particularly Jazz, Korean, and Musical Theatre. Her other interests include singing, interior design, and fashion.
