Initially a class classical trained pianist performed at the Chicago Symphony when I was 13 and at the age of 18 quit piano until present which is a 25 year hiatus one of the reasons was I had a finger amputated do not want to have to retrain with nine fingers as opposed to 10 about three I go my mother bought me a Kurzwell baby grand Digital Piano with a built in keyboard and encouraged me to take the piano again. since then I have self trained myself to play now with nine fingers and although I still play the classical music I learned years ago I have started learning to jam which I define being able to sit down with any genre of music and instantly start playing to add or effectively build a song with the other players by complete improvisation and my gift if having a very good ear has aided me enormously to be able to add my own interpretation to a song at any given time. I challenge myself to play along with every genre of music my best abilities come with the jazz and blues which seem to flow very naturally even when I'm not familiar with the song. I have grown a very big passion to start playing again despite a 25 year hiatus and I.m eager to work and learn from other musicians who share the same passion as I do.
