I am a former accompanist for the Detroit Public Schools. I worked for nearly 30 years in that school district. My childhood background in music began at the reknowned Detroit Institute of Musical Arts. I am also a church organist and choir director. I've performed vocal and instrumental (organ and piano) recitals throughout the metro area. I am also a piano instructor. I am a graduate of Wayne State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance. My instructors at Wayne were: Majorie Gordon (voice), Mischa Kottler (piano), Ray Ferguson (organ) and Robert Conway (piano).
