Christina Corson has played piano ever since the age of three. She was given a piano for Christmas and never looked back. She began private lessons at the age of six and went on to the prestigious Ithaca College to receive her Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance. Ms. Corson also holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Montclair State University, and is a member of the National Music Teachers Association (MTNA). Ms. Corson has extended experience accompanying choirs and musicals. She has been the pianist with the orchestra for performances of The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera, and Hello, Dolly! with Tony Award winner and Law and Order SVU actress Laura Benanti in the lead role. She has played many weddings, ceremonies as well as cocktail hours and dinners, holiday parties, corporate events, anniversaries, birthday parties, and more. She also is on the sublist for Bergen Passaic morris and Essex County for accompanying choirs in churches.

In addition to performing and accompanying, she has a passion for teaching piano and sharing the joy of music with others, and works at the Paul Nazzaro Music Studio, as well as teaching her own private students, either in her home studio, or in their private homes.

Ms. Corson has over 20 years of performing/ accompanying experience, and over 15 years of teaching experience, both privately and in professional music studios in both New Jersey and Florida. She teaches lessons to all ages and levels, from beginner to professional. Ms. Corson teaches all styles of music, but specializes in classical, and prepares students for ABRSM recitals, competitions, and tests. While incorporating theory, technique, and scales, Ms. Corson also teaches other styles such as jazz, popular, and Broadway, to ensure that her students have a well-rounded music education. Above all, she makes learning fun for her students.
