I began playing piano at age 5 and have been involved in church music all my life. I have a B.A. in Piano Performance from Rockmont College and a M.A. in Religious Education with minor in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I enjoy performing solo but am happiest accompanying others which I have done for nearly 40 years. As I see it, my job as an accompanist is to provide support for the soloist to the extent that he is able to relax, be himself and shine without worrying about the accompaniment.
