Daniel Schreiner has studied piano for 23 years. He is a graduate of Mannes Conservatory in New York City, where he received a Master of Music in piano performance under teacher Thomas Sauer. While at Mannes, he served as a TA for the undergraduate piano skills class, performed regularly in solo and chamber ensemble contexts, and received the Steinway award for an exceptional graduation recital performance. He graduated from Williams College in 2014, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and received "Highest Honors" for his Senior Performance Thesis, which included a full-length solo recital. While at Williams, he was a winner of the annual Berkshire Symphony Concerto Competition and recipient of the 2014 Shirly Stanton Prize in Music Excellence.
Daniel has attended and performed at numerous prestigious summer music festivals, including: Academie Internationale d'Été de Nice, nief-norf Contemporary music festival, soundSCAPE Contemporary music festival, International Keyboard Institute and Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Eastern Music Festival. He recently completed a year of study in Paris, France as the recipient of the Fondation des États-Unis' Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship.
Daniel currently lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where he works as a freelance teacher, accompanist, and music theory tutor. He enjoys instrumental and vocal accompanying in the realms of classical music and musical theatre, is a quick sight-reader and is very sociable/easy to work with.

Hourly fee is subject to change based on difficulty of repertoire, amount of notice given, and nature of the client's required performance (i.e. concert, masterclass, recording, etc). If travel is required more than 10 miles radius from Brooklyn zip code 11237 there will be an additional travel fee.
