I am a classically trained pianist with a GRSM and ARCM from The Royal College of Music.
I have strong sight reading skills and will always attempt a decent reading of anything put in front of me for the first time, no matter how difficult and challenging.
I am prepared to learn challenging repertoire in my own time before rehearsal - I would never waste rehearsal time sorting out difficult passages etc.
I have a great deal of experience accompanying both instrumentalists and vocalists of all abilities - I am just as happy to rehearse/work with a beginner as I am with someone preparing for a diploma or advanced standard recital.
Most of my experience would be around accompanying woodwind and string players, as well as vocalists. I do not have so much experience with brass repertoire, but I am always willing to learn.
I relish the opportunity to develop and expand my accompanying skills...I'm first and foremost an accompanist - that's what I do.
