Obtained from RCM both grade 9 & 10 within a single year at the age of 10 and the ARCT Performance with first class honour while winning numerous Kiwanis awards along the way, David has always been recognized as a musical talent. Graduated from York University with Bachelor of Arts in Music and minor in music education, he specializes in piano performance, piano collaboration and conducting.

Upon graduation, David works occasionally as a collaborative pianist at Glenn Gould School of Music and York University, in which he frequently collaborates and practices with musicians of all instruments for their recitals, classes and examinations. He also teaches numerous students at Li's Music Studio as well as at his own home in his spare time. On top of all, he is the appointed pianist for two well established community choirs.

With his ten years of teaching experience combining his extensive knowledge in musical collaboration, brilliant technique and musicality, and passion towards Classical music, David is one of the most sought-after collaborative pianists in Toronto.
