I have played piano and flute for decades, and am a singer as well. I have been on both sides of accompanying, having had to work with accompanists as a flutist and vocalist, and having had many years of experience providing accompaniment on piano for others, both instrumentalists and vocalists. I know that it takes a great deal of sensitivity to perform as an "ensemble".
