Douglas Von Edelmann is a versatile pianist with international experience both as a professional opera singer/tenor and pianist. A solid pedigree in Canada, USA and Europe achieved through years of study. He accompanies other singers, knows vocal repertoire, as well as a plethora of other musical literature for other instruments. He regularly accompanies singers in concerts, recitals, as well as preparing singers for operatic performances, auditions and concerts. From Baroque to Contemporary Repertoire, musicians can be assured that creative, high energy, insightful interpretive abilities, and a high level of musical accompaniment will be provided.
Aside from accompanying, Mr. Rice also teaches voice and piano, coaches, and draws a broad range of colleagues to his studio in preparation for recording projects and performances.
