Evija gained a professional BA degree and pianist qualification at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA) in the class of Professor Toms Ostrovskis and MA programme for piano accompaniment, in the class of Assoc. Professor Dace Kļava. Evija works as accompanist at J. Mediņš Rīga 1st Music School, department of String and Wind Instruments.

Evija Auziņa has participated in masterclasses with R.Weinsheimer (Germany), Paulo Pocheco (Portugal), Georgi Fedorenko (Russia), Ying Liu Tawastsjema (Finland), James Maddox (Germany), Balazs Szokolay(Hungary) and others.

Evija Auziņa was also official accompanist at Balanas Sisters Charity Masterclasses in year 2020.

Evija Auziņa has successfully participated in many competitions and festivals in Latvia and abroad. Now she focuses on chamber music. In 2017 she won 2nd place in International A.Garcia Abril Competition (Spain), 1st place and special award by Latvian Radio Classic in the JVLMA chamber music competition in Latvia.

In May 2018, Evija was a one of the leading accompanists at the Carl Davidoff International Cello Competition in Kuldiga (Latvia).

Evija has received multiple diplomas from the Latvian Ministry of Culture for high achievements in preparing young people for international competitions.

Evija has several times been awarded diplomas for the best performances ofpiano accompaniment.

In 2019 Evija was nominated for the Latvian composer Pēteris Plakidis Chamber Music Award.

Evija together with cello profesor Nicholas Jones are organising Cello summer School in Kuldiga,Latvia since 2019.
