I am a qualified piano teacher but I have accompanied students taking instrumental exams for many years, as well as accompanying many young people in an annual local young musicians competition.
I play the piano for an informal community choir and I am a regular member of my church music group, having previously led a worship group for approximately 20 years.
Probably the highlight of my experience was accompanying a blues singer one year in a concert at the Edinburgh Fringe.
