Born in Florence, I started studying the piano at the age of eight and continued at the Scuola di Musica Demidoff in Pratolino, Florence.
I graduated in piano in 2013 from the Potenza Conservatory in Italy, studying piano at the Sesto Fiorentino International Music School with Silvia Cuccurullo and chamber music with Ilaria Maurri. Since September 2013 I have been attending the Postgraduate Artist Diploma with Sergio De Simone at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, receiving also the generous support of grants from the Trinity Laban Scholarship, the Postgraduate Bursary Fund, and the Henry Wood House Bursary Fund.
I took part at several Masterclasses and lessons with Sergio De Simone, Marco Ghilarducci, Silvia Cuccurullo, Natasha Kislenko, Ilaria Maurri, Gabriele Baldocci, Ruth Pardo, Andres Manchado Lopez, Alessandra Artifoni, Martino Tirimo, Pascal Rogè, Teresa Trevisan.
I perform on a regular basis in Italy and in the UK in several piano and chamber music festivals, such as Concerti in San Lorenzo in San Lorenzo Church in Florence, Festival Intersezioni and Domeniche in Musica in Sesto Fiorentino, Il volto riscoperto della musica in Cardano al Campo. In the UK I held a concert in the St. Martin in Ludgate Church in London, St Alfege Church in Greenwich and performed Beethoven op. 110 during the prestigious Beethoven Festival in Saint Barnabas Church, London.
Active also as a chamber musician, I perform in ensamble with the cellist Francesca Neri and the singer Benjamin Ellis.
Besides studying and performing, I am a passionate teacher, who believes that music is a gift that has to be returned.
Additionally, I am interested in the study of Aesthetics and the building of the meaning of a work of art. In 2011, I achieved a Master Degree in that subject with high honours from the University of Florence.
