I am currently a piano teacher with at least 8 years of experience. The past four years, I had also taught in government school as a full time trained music teacher. Qualification-wise, I am currently a grade 8 ABRSM holder and is practicing for LTCL in 2012.
I have a broad range of exposure to music history and instruments, and in my Bachelor of Arts (education), music was my core subject, and voice was my secondary instrument.
I also have experience as piano accompanist in my church (worship + church choir) for over 12 years and a recent ABRSM accompaniment I did was for a grade 5 trumpet.
I am easy going, but respect music as an art, and will help the performer work towards perfection in his/her music.

Fees

S$ 60.00 Singapore Dollars Per Hour
The fee reflected is just an average. For instruments from grade 1 to 5, I would typically charge 50 (non-travel) and 60 for travel. Grade 6 and beyond I will charge 70 per hour (non-travel). There will also be a minimum requirement of 6hrs of practice excluding exam. Exam counts as 1 session. Consolidated fees to be paid upfront. As accompanist, I will provide suggestions (if requested) on interpretations of piece, help performer refine his/her music (if needed). I will also help performer with the aural segment of their exam.
