Gonzalo Redondo was born in Caparroso (Navarra), began his musical training with Marina Ibanez in his hometown. Later he entered the Conservatory Pablo Sarasate of Pamplona, taking lessons from Maria Jose De Bustos, Carlos Sanchez and Jorge Silva Queralt. Ends high studies at the Conservatorio Superior del Liceu in Barcelona with Stanislav Pochekin.
The influence of pianist Angel Soler takes him to specialize in the world of singing, developing an intense activity as pianist repertorist.
Performs specialized courses at L'Estudi de Angel Soler, International Music Course in Cervera, Matisse International Music Course in El Escorial, International Music Course of the Principality of Andorra and the Salzburg Mozarteum Internationale Sommeracadeie.
He has worked with many choral groups such as Marcilla Coral, Coral Caparroso, Coral Berbinzana and Cor de Liceo Conservatory del Liceu, giving recitals in Navarre and Catalonia. In 2007 he was invited to join the Instrumental Group performing Liceu XXI conducted by Manel Valdivieso at the Gran Teatro del Liceo.
He has offered concerts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sabadell, National Museum of Contemporary Art, SGAE Auditorium, Room Golferich, Sala Mas y Mas, Barcelona Auditorio Caja Madrid and Cáceres Roman Camp among others. Participates in the concert series "Dones Composers" for two seasons with Núria Vila, Irene Salas and Cecilia Aimy, organized by the Catalan Institute of Women, acting along the whole of Catalonia and recording Catalunya Música.
Gonzalo has been has been Scene Lyrical Pianist at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu. Participates as a musical assistant in the "Opera School" organized by the Gran Teatro del Liceo in the production of "Brundibar" by Hans Kaas and "The Little Sweep" by Britten, directed by Elisenda Carrasco.
Author of the soundtrack of the theater work "Melodic Lifes" of Bertus Companyo, charitable project sponsored by the Stuttering Foundation of the Spanish. Its premiere in 2009 in Granollers Theatre had a several impact on Spanish society. He was received in audience by the Royal Princess of Asturias, Leticia Ortiz, in the Palacio de la Zarzuela with the project's artistic team.
He currently resides in Vienna (Austria) where he received lessons of the pianist Norman Shetler.
