Presently, I am a music teacher who teaches ABRSM Piano 1-8 for K12. Although focusing on piano skills, my interests are accompanying musical theater with the occasional ad lib section or chord charts. Listeners say things like "You ought to play ROCK". My decision is to stay Swing and explore Jazz idioms. Today musical theater allows all of those venues.

On the college level, I have 15 years of experience as a vocal repetitur for musicals. Playing for theater auditions from sight is my most valued skill. In the past 3 years, I have been employed as an organist with a Christian Science church part time. From playing pop music for my lunch at the Indiana University Student Union to playing the opera AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS by Menotti in Oakland, CA, my experience is vast.

Masters of Music from Indiana University in Voice and 2023 California Driver's License allows me to be a travelling moonlighting pianist within 60 miles of my residence. ( I also have a digital keyboard.)
