Hannah Mindeman is a collaborative pianist characterized by her musical sensitivity and versatility, intellectual yet deeply emotional approach to music, and passion for sharing music with others. Born into a musical family, Ms. Mindeman began her pianistic training at the age of six. She received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in French, summa cum laude, from Covenant College and a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Her teachers have included Lisa Emenheiser, Jeanell Brown, and Allison Gagnon and she has performed in master classes for notable artists such as Jean-Louis Haguenauer, Eric Ruske, James Buswell, and Miles Hoffman. During her time at UNCSA, she gave numerous recitals both at the school and in the Winston-Salem area, was the pianist for the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra, and received diction training from Angela Vanstory Ward, a protégé of John Moriarty.

In the 2010-2011 academic year, Ms. Mindeman was the staff accompanist at Covenant College. In July 2011, in honor of the tornado victims from the April 2011 storms, she performed in and helped envision, plan, and organize a benefit concert for the Chattanooga Red Cross. Most recently, she was a 2012-2013 William R. Kenan, Jr. Performing Arts Fellow at the Lincoln Center Institute in New York City.
