I invite you to listen to several tracks from my CD which features me on piano, accompanied by a bassist and drummer.
To those who wish to visit, you will have to start the music player manually. It's easy! Once the page loads, a music player will appear. Simply 'click on' the 1st track entitled "Tempus Fugit." If you see a photo of a big Siamese/Burmese cat, you are in the right place!

II. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and MUSICAL BACKGROUND
As an Accompanist with a Master of Music degree (M.M.) in Classical Piano Performance, I have nearly two decades experience accompanying vocalists, instrumentalists in multiple genres as soloists, small groups and larger ensembles. I've performed in many vocal and instrumental recitals, juries, auditions, wedding ceremonies and various public and private engagements. In addition, I'm well-versed as an accompanist for music theater and am familiar with jazz standards and "show-tune" repetoire.
I currently hold the accompanist position for the choir, orchestra and worship band (contemporary/pop-oriented music) at a well-known church in south Denver. In addition, I've had considerable experience accompanying jr. high and high school choirs in the Denver public school system.
My other professional experience includes nearly 2 decades professional experience performing with a myriad of locally and , nationally recognized acts, bands and artists! My performance background is uniquely diverse. I'm well-versed and knowledgeable in multiple genres which include but are not limited to the following
Classical -
Jazz/Jazz improvisation
Rhythm and Blues (funk, soul, "old school" motown)
Classic and Progressive Rock
Church music (hymns, "traditional", gospel and "contemporary)
Top 40 and most contemporary commercial music styles
III. SKILLS, ASSETS and PHILOSOPHY
I've had 15 years teaching experience and I can often provide good direction for those who seek it in terms of style and ensemble. I have a performance history rich in diversity which spans nearly two decades. This has facilitated the ability to function in multiple idioms with confidence and conviction.
My classical roots have given me the discipline, technical development and theoretical knowledge to know what is needed for each musical situation in which I participate. My improvizational ability has enabled the freedom of interpretation which can enable the music to come to life, as opposed to that of a data processor who only sees, thinks and hears in "black and white." I read both standard grand staff notation and chord charts fluently. In addition, I possess excellent aural and improvisational skill.
On the human element, I'm honest, I have a good work ethic and positive attitude. My desire is to be a "team" player, who is willing to contribute what I can for the good of the music and all who are involved in it's creation..
Fees
$ 35.00 Dollars Per Hour
That fee is just a rough estimate. I am flexible in terms of my rates. I realize most of us are living in a tough, if not brutal economic climate. I invite everyone who views this, to please contact me before assessing it's "too expensive."
My fee is determined based on the following factors:
1) An estimation of the time I'll need to spend outside of rehearsals and performances to deliver a high caliber product (degree of difficulty factor)
2) Travel time and distance
Performances which involve a lot of pieces/songs, many specific details and which tend to me more complex, usually carry a higher fee than those which are more simplistic.
"Last-minute changes, additions and requests" to the initial agreement and/or performance which involve a signifigant amount unexpected extra work and worry, will likely render a higher fee than the original agreement. This creates a lot of extra stress which, in many cases, could have been avoided with proper planning ahead of time.
