I am 46 years old, and have been playing piano since I was 8, and began playing professionally at age 18. I hold an undergraduate degree in piano performance/accompanying from the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio. I also did graduate work there as an accompanist and vocal coach for the Opera program. I have played for and music directed dozens of musical theater productions, ranging from community theater, regional, summer stock and national tours. I have also worked as musical director for various churches through the last several years, and am currently director of worship at Seattle First Presbyterian Church in Seattle Washington. I have accompanied students for various solo and ensemble festivals, Seattle Young Artists, and PAFE (Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside).
