I am a multi purpose British born keyboard player and studied the organ and harpsichord at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the University of Birmingham. I have diplomas from the Royal College of Organist’s and Trinity College of Music and a postgraduate Master’s Degree specializing in French baroque keyboard music. After completing my studies I held a number of teaching positions, firstly at The Blue Coat School in Birmingham as Acting Director of Music; then at Ampleforth College as Assistant Music Master, and as Master of Chapel and Organist at Guildford Grammar School, Perth, Australia.
I am a First Study Harpsichordist and organist but an extremely capable piano player and the fastest sight reader in the business. I have also worked in pop and rock fields and have done some theatre work, probably most notably Phantom of the Opera. I can learn things extremely quickly and read anything that is put in front of me without nerves. I understand the needs and requirements of instrumentalists and singers.
