I'm a brass player and pianist, and have taught brass and piano to a high standard; I've accompanied up to LTCL performance (the soloist was a trombone player), and have accompanied most wind and brass instruments through ABRSM grades. I am a composer who has taught up to A level both in schools and privately. Having served 25 years in the Army and spent ten of those years as a conductor, trainer and educator, I have established a highly effective rehearsal process which empowers and inspires the musicians I work with; my experiences as a soloist have been instrumental in honing my approach to examination preparation. I have the facilities to rehearse either at my own house, or I can travel to wherever I am required. I have three enhanced CRB checks valid for different areas of teaching.

My fees are based upon £15 for 30 minutes - or multiples thereof.
