James completed a Bachelor of Music majoring in performance. He studied Piano accompaniment and conducting as part of his degree at the Canberra School of Music. Has also studied Classical Voice and is presently doing further study in voice and harpsichord at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He has spent time in Europe, and is interested in languages instrumental accompaniment, vocal and choral. He also plays the organ for weddings and funerals. He has worked in the same capacity together both as organist and cantor. He is a good sight reader and is a competent arranger. He is also an experienced composer and conductor. As well as being a talented pianist he has a beautiful tenor voice.
