I started playing the piano when I was 8 years old and obtained Grade 8 at the age of 17.
I have played piano and organ at my local church from the age of 11 and have been an accompanist since then, accompanying ABRSM and Trinity College exams . As well as reading music, I also play by ear.
In1983 I obtained a Bachelor of Education and qualified as a primary school teacher, specialising in music. I am a specialist in teaching primary school singing.
I have 35 years piano teaching experience and am also a church organist/pianist. I play at weddings and funerals both in churches and other venues. I also give advice about appropriate music for various services including weddings and funerals.
