Biography:

PIANIST AND ORGANIST Jeb Dennis began piano study at seven, and by 15 started university-level training with Karen Shaw of Indiana University School of Music. He later received a Bachelor in Piano Performance at Indiana under Dr. Shaw, with a Minor in Business. In 2010, he earned a Masters in Piano Performance from State University of New York, Purchase, under pianist Stephanie Brown, with collaborative piano study with John Klibonoff.

Mr. Dennis has performed for keyboardist Anthony Newman, and in masterclasses of pianists Leslie Howard, Steven Lubin, David Dubal, Paul Ostrovsky, Sarah Davis Buechner, Jeffrey Swan, German Diez, Karen Shaw, and Leonard Hokanson. He has accompanied and collaborated with diverse artists including tenor John Easterlin, sitcom/Broadway veteran Diana Canova, baritone Jonathan Hays, and others. Mr. Dennis has frequently joined sopranos Alexandra Whyte and Laura Danehower-Whyte in concerts throughout the Northeast.

After studying piano with Pianist/Organist Randall Atcheson at age 10, Jeb reconnected years later to became Mr. Atcheson’s Assistant Organst/Choirmaster at First Congregational Church, Stamford. This continued at Stanwich Congregational Church, Greenwich, and currently at First Presbyterian Church. In 2006 Jeb attended Yale School of Music’s Church Music Clinic, working with Yale organ faculty Martin Jean and Thomas Murray.

Jeb has studied privately with piano pedagogue German Diez in New York, protégé of pianst Claudio Arrau. He maintains two teaching studios in Stamford and Norwalk, CT, and coaches promising young pianists.

In fall 2016, Mr. Dennis founded a new ensemble, Jennesis Artists, and performed an inaugural concert at his Norwalk studio, playing Brahms and Beethoven Violin Sonatas with concert violinist Jose Bastardes. Jennesis’ concert presence is growing, with consulting help from a Los Angeles-based classical artist agency.

Jeb's GREATEST inspirations include connecting with audiences and deepening their concert experiences, and collaborating with esteemed colleagues in vocal and instrumental concerts.

Fees

$ 75.00 Dollars Per Hour
Available to collaborate on vocal and instrumental concerts, recordings and auditions with advanced notice. Extra prep fee may be charged, depending on repertoire...all to be discused before going forward.

Rehearsals: $75/hour.
Recital, auditions, recording fees: per case. Depends on repertoire needed, prep time needed, etc.
Travel fee charged if more than 30-minutes each way to any bookings, rehearsals or gigs.

All fees may be negotiable into a package, if I'm needed for multiple events.
