Graduate of the RNCM, with LRSM, dipABRSM and ABRSM CT certificates. I also have a Masters in Education Leadership and currently work passionately in education as a pastoral head of year. Actively looking for ad hoc accompaniment gigs during evenings/weekends. Whilst I am not taking on any more regular teaching or any regular rehearsal pianist commitments, the type of work I undertake includes accompaniment for ABRSM and Trinity exams (dependent on timings), school/university performances, shows, choir and ensemble accompaniment on a deputy basis (I am an excellent sight-reader and very experienced in deputising rehearsals), background music and providing basic backing tracks.

I can also provide one-off lessons to cover aural requirements for ABRSM/Trinity exams, scales clinics, mock-exams and pre-audition consultations.

I am still a very active solo and ensemble performer. Most of my regular clients use me for my excellent and reliable sight-reading skills, enabling me to work stress-free at very short notice, and for the rapport and encouragement I build during rehearsals with both adult and young instrumentalists. I have also worked as a hand double for TV and film during my time studying in Manchester.

Qualifications - BMus(hons), LRSM, dipABRSM piano teaching and the ABRSM CT. MEd (distinction).

Fees

£ 40.00 Pounds Per Hour
Fees vary - a lower fee may be able to be negotiated depending on the convenience of the gig for me so please don't be afraid to ask. Higher profile events, recitals and longer distances will be more.

AS A GUIDELINE ABRSM/TRINITY EXAMS
Grades 1-5 £45 (all grade fees inclusive of travel within 15miles and a rehearsal of up to 30mins including work on aural tests if necessary. Longer distances subject to extra charge.)
Grades 6-8 £65
Diplomas - POA, fee is very much repertoire and rehearsal time dependant.
£10 discount if no prior rehearsal is needed and pupil is happy to top-and-tail in warm up room before exam.

£5 SAME-DAY BACKING TRACKS; I am pleased to offer a same-day backing track service. Simply send your sheet music before 6pm latest and receive a backing track in return by 10pm. Please note, this is a simple iPad recording and not professionally produced. Ideal for rehearsing and casual performance/busking/assessment.
