Since a young age, I have been performing around the world, in Austria, Brazil, and the United States of America. I have also been teaching piano lessons for many years, a skill I began to develop in Brazil, and continued to hone in the United States. In addition to this global performing/teaching background, I have worked as a collaborative pianist since my undergraduate studies in Brazil. In recognition of these accompanying, teaching and performing skills, I received a teaching assistantship during my Masters Degree that required me to teach class piano and aural skills, accompany various studios and perform on selected recitals. To even further develop my acumen for collaborative piano, I decided to focus my minor studies in Chamber Music/Collaborative Piano during my Doctor of Musical Arts degree. At University of Georgia, part of my assistantship was to perform with the Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, which premiers numerous works by living composers.
My studies at University of Georgia have revolved around piano performance and collaborative piano/chamber music, allowing me to hone my skills in these areas. The experience of teaching all levels of aural skills for three years at the college level as part of my assistantship at UGA brought my teaching skills to a much higher level. In addition to that, I taught private piano lessons (for young children and adults) and group classes at UGA, which contributed to my piano pedagogy knowledge. At University of Wyoming, I received recognition for excellence in performing as a soloist, chamber musician, and composer. I also taught Class Piano and accompanied a diverse number of vocalists and instrumentalists during my Masters Degree, which was crucial to the enhancement of my professional skills
Currently, I am the Piano Professor and one of the collaborative pianists at Laramie County Community College, the full time pianist at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, teach chamber music for Off The Hook Arts Chamber Academy, and teach private piano lessons.
In 2011, I was the pianist of the choir of Trinity Lutheran Church in Laramie, Wyoming. From 2007-2010, I was a member (as a singer) of the Symphonic Choir of Goiania, in Brazil. From 2000 to 2007, I was the arranger for the Youth Choir of Projeção School, in Brasília DF, Brazil.
In 2006, I was the pianist of the Youth Symphonic Orchestra, in Goiânia, and also a teacher assistant of Aural Theory at Federal University of Goiás (in Brazil). In 2004, I was the piano teacher of the Musical Center Toque de Classe, in Brasília, Brazil.
