I graduated from the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam, with a degree in Piano Performance and worked as an accompanist/ piano teacher during my time there. I will be going to graduate school for Collaborative Piano.

I play with the skill of a professional pianist, but strive to provide a challenging, mutually-rewarding experience in rehearsal and performance as a leader and guider. To me, accompanying is an art in itself and a conversation between two people.
Some experience includes:

Rehearsal Accompanist for Crane Opera Ensemble, Spring 2010-12
• Accompany two- six hour rehearsals for Crane School of Music Operas
• Performed in the productions of On the Town, Cosi Fan Tutti, Kurt Wiell Cabaret, experience with pit size orchestra and woodwind quintet

Private Piano Accompanist, 2008-Present
• Experience orchestrating efficient rehearsals, while collaborating with choirs, bassoon, voice, trombone, trumpet, cello, viola, clarinet, bass, violin and oboe for recitals and performances

I studied collaborative work abroad, and participated in many performances.

Tyrolean Opera Program, Maurach Austria –Summer 2011
• Piano accompanist working with Elizabeth Bachman and Kathryn Wright in operatic and German art song material, and ten vocalists, went for free on scholarship

• Piano Accompanist working with Professor Donald George, and Lucy Mauro in Rosenheim, Germany
