I have two great passions in life: playing music and teaching music. I started playing piano 19 years ago and I have been utterly in love with it ever since. Piano, for me, always held all the wonders of life and I could never get enough time to play and practice, which is why I went on to get my B.A. in music from Western State College.
While I was at Western State College I worked for the music department as an accompanist. I played for the large choir and also for the chamber choir. Further, I played for soloists, both singers and instrumentalists. The chamber orchestra and symphony band also frequently requested that I play accompaniment in concert with their ensembles. Overall, my four years at Western State provided me with a diverse and extensive amount of accompaniment experience.
Since I graduated from Western State I have worked as a piano instructor and as an accompanist for both individuals and for churches. I have even worked as a pianist for a church in Nottingham, England. Now, I play for special events, weddings, charity events, and with local singers who need piano accompaniment.
