The majority of the work I do, and my particular strength and experience, lies in accompanying singers and other instrumentalists rather than in giving solo performances or playing in bands - this includes working for amateur operatic societies, choirs and theatre or singing groups etc. as well as for individuals.

I have particular interest in providing accompaniment for musical theatre and jazz (both for performances and for exams). I can also provide accompaniment for classical exams, eg grades. Please see my website www.johnasherpianist.com for further information.
